Almost an year has passed since the launch of the VitalSight service in the US. In order to contribute to the hypertension management of as many patients as possible, we have been conducting the clinical studies in collaboration with universities and specialized facilities.

Efficacy of Remote Patient Monitoring Service

Treatment efficacy

Approximately 200 volunteers with hypertensive condition were asked to join the joint study of the remote patient monitoring (RPM) service with HighMark, a non-profit healthcare company with more than 4 million insurance contractors. As a result, 42% of uncontrolled (28 out of 66) showed the improvement in their blood pressure at 6 months.

Uncontrolled status of hypertensive patients

At baseline, 66 participants were considered to have uncontrolled hypertension. After just 1 month of using the OHMP, 28 of these participants experienced an improvement in BP and were considered controlled.

(U-C = Uncontrolled—Controlled, U-U = Uncontrolled—Uncontrolled, U-N = Uncontrolled—Unknown). Note: Those participants labeled as U-N did not record a blood pressure during the corresponding week the hypertension status was determined.
