Global production base
Our factory in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, Japan is a strategic base for our global production capabilities. Here, we create and introduce cutting-edge manufacturing technology such as automation, precision processing and quality control, and expand its use to our bases around the world.
Our facility in Dalian, China is OMRON Healthcare Group’s main factory for health equipment products for the global market. In addition, we work on the development and production of products in Delian that meet the needs of the rapidly expanding Chinese market.
Our facility in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam produces blood pressure monitors and nebulizers for emerging countries in Europe, North America and Southeast Asia. It continues to evolve as a global factory for blood pressure monitors, which is our principal product.
In Lonato del Garda, Italy we develop and produce nebulizers for the European market. We plan to expand our product lineup using our Italian facility as a design base for high-quality, low-priced compressor-type nebulizers for the global market.
Our facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil produces blood pressure monitors and nebulizers for the Brazilian and Latin American markets, where lifestyle-related diseases such as hypertension and respiratory diseases such as asthma due to air pollution are increasing.
Providing reliability and quality in medical devices
As a medical device manufacturer, we have achieved certified reliable quality at a global scale.
• In 2004, OMRON Healthcare acquired ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality assurance, and ISO13485, a standard for quality management systems related to medical devices.
• In addition, our Matsusaka facility acquired ISO9002 certification in 1995, ISO9001 certification in 1999, and ISO13485 certification in 2003.
• OMRON Dalian acquired ISO9002 certification in 1996 and ISO9001 and ISO13485 certification in 2004.
